Jonas brother threatens to sue blogge

ONE of the Jonas Brothers has threatened to sue a blogger for suggesting that he is involved in an illicit relationship with a 17-year-old actress.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato split up after dating for about two months earlier this year but Canadian blogger Zack Taylor has alleged that the former couple are still involved in a secret “friends with benefits” relationship.

Jonas’ attorney wrote a letter to Taylor calling the report a "malicious attempt to attack and devalue (Joe's) good name and reputation", entertainment website TMZ reported.

The letter said the report is “completely false,” and demands that Taylor immediately remove the post from his website, zacktaylor.ca, or risk a lawsuit.

The age at which people are legally considered competent enough to consent to sexual activity varies from state to state, but is 18 in many US states, making sexual contact between Jonas and Lovato potentially illegal.
